This move, made during a Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, aims to reduce the financial burden on property owners across the state.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-7dce9aa elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"7dce9aa\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t<h6 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">What does this mean for property owners?\n<\/h6>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ae39443 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"ae39443\" buildings, high-rise apartments, and commercial and industrial units constructed on lands previously subject to NA tax will no longer have to pay it.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 10px;\">&#8211; The abolition extends to all properties except those situated in Gaothan areas, which were already exempt under the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code of 1960.<\/p>\n&#8211; This change is expected to affected approximately two lakh housing societies and apartments in Maharashtra.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 8px;\">&#8211; Only 10,000-15,000 properties fell under Gaothan and were exempted from
