A form of undertaking about the registration of the transfer of a flat under Section 269 AB of the Income – Tax Act.
(To be given jointly by the Transferor and the Transferee)
I/We, Shri/Shrimati/Messer’s ………………………………………………… (Transferor) am/are a member/members of the …………………………………………………….. Co- operative Housing Society Ltd, Address:- …………………………………………….. holding flat/ bungalow no ………………………………………………….. Address………………………………………………………. in the building/plot of the society and …………………………………………………………. (Transferee) intends to become a member and intends to get transferred the said flat to himself from the aforesaid (Transferor). We jointly undertake that we or either of us, as is decided amongst ourselves shall furnish necessary information in Form No.37E to the competent authority under the Income-Tax Act within 30 days of the General Body Meeting from me date of execution of transfer agreement deed at which the transfer will be approved for the purpose of registration of the transfer -under Section: 269 AB of the Income-Tax Act.

Note:- This undertaking is not necessary where the transfer is between two relatives, as defined in Section 2(41) of the Income-Tax Act, or if the consideration for the transfer is Rs. 75,00,000/- or less
