Form of Undertaking about the registration of the acquisition of a flat under Section 269 AB of the Income-Tax Act.
(To be given by a person seeking direct admission to the membership of the Society)
I/We, Shri/Shrimati/Messer’s ……………………………………………intend to become a member of the………………………………………… Co-operative Housing Society Ltd. ( Proposed) in respect of the Flat No………………………………………… in the building of the society, purchased by me/us under the agreement under Section 4 of the Maharashtra Ownership Flats Act, 1963 entered into with the Builder, solemnly declare that I shall furnish necessary information in Form 37E to the competent authority, under the Income-Tax Act, within 30 days of the General Body Meeting at which the application for membership will be approved, or being registered under Section 269 AB of the Income Tax Act.

Note:- This undertaking is not necessary where the transfer is between two relatives, as defined in Section 2(41) of the Income-Tax Act, or if the consideration for the transfer is Rs. 75,00,000/- or less
